Who We Are
Founded in 2008 Containers Direct began retailing new and used 20ft and 40ft shipping containers in the UK. In response to the increasing demand for a wider variety of container sizes and requirements we set up our own 4.5 acre depot and workshop and have become specialists in supplying modified containers of all sizes, along with creating bespoke container conversions. From garden offices to bars, retail outlets to catwalks, we have constantly created innovative solutions for our customers beyond the constraints of a standard shipping container.
Drawing upon years of industry knowledge and expertise, we are committed to delivering top quality products at competitive prices. In addition to shipping containers and container conversions we have expanded our range of products to include flat pack storage containers (perfect for difficult to reach sites), portable offices and toilet blocks. Containers Direct are one of the only depots who offer our customers the option to come and view our extensive range of new and second-hand shipping containers in person at our main depot and office in the Knowsley Industrial Estate.
Please call and make an appointment in advance. As we are a working depot, for reasons of health and safety, hard soles shoes should be worn. We can provide Hi Viz apparel if required. Customers are welcome to come in by appointment and plan their container conversion projects with our expert Sales Team, who will guide you through the numerous options available.

We stand by our products, and so we offer a 12 month watertight warranty – full details and exclusions can be found in our Containers Direct Terms and Conditions of Business. Please note this does not apply to containers listed under the Clearance Section on the website.For extra peace of mind, once you've ordered your container, where possible, upon request, we can send a picture of the container to you prior to delivery.
