Who We Are
Founded in 2008 Containers Direct began retailing new and used 20ft and 40ft shipping containers in the UK. In response to the increasing demand for a wider variety of container sizes and requirements we set up our own 4.5 acre depot and workshop and have become specialists in supplying modified containers of all sizes, along with creating bespoke container conversions. From garden offices to bars, retail outlets to catwalks, we have constantly created innovative solutions for our customers beyond the constraints of a standard shipping container.
Drawing upon years of industry knowledge and expertise, we are committed to delivering top quality products at competitive prices. In addition to shipping containers and container conversions we have expanded our range of products to include flat pack storage containers (perfect for difficult to reach sites), portable offices and toilet blocks. Whatever container product you are searching for, we deliver quality you can see and experience you can trust.
Containers Direct works with a wide mix of customers, from homeowners and small businesses to UK councils, schools and the Ministry of Defence (MOD). Our work covers far more than basic storage containers. We build practical site units, container offices, classrooms, catering units, pop-up spaces, workshops, secure stores and fully bespoke conversions, including specialist engineering builds, luxury holiday resort projects and custom container garages for classic and high-value cars. Because we fabricate in-house, we can adapt containers for straightforward storage, commercial use, public-sector requirements and one-off bespoke projects.
