About shipping containers
Most of our containers in Southend come with a watertight guarantee and a wide choice of sizes ranging from 5ft to 45ft. New shipping containers are sold with just one trip behind them, as they arrive in UK ports loaded with cargo for cheaper transportation. Used shipping containers will typically be around 10 - 15 years old, and the cosmetic conditions will have suffered from frequent sea-faring journeys and handling at ports. We offer a free
repaint on all containers under 20ft, that will cover a lot of the cosmetic damage and greatly improve the appearance of the container. For containers over 20ft and over, we offer competitive repainting rates.
Using our conversion facilities
We are lucky to have our own conversion and new-build facilities on site in our main depot in Liverpool, which means we can supply shipping containers to our customers own specifications. Case study of the month
March 2026
This modern welfare office block is constructed from our CTX self-assembly range, using 20ft x 8ft modular units, joined together and stacked over two floors. We needed a total of 14 units to achieve a total length of 56ft, in order to accommodate separate areas of space for a canteen area, toilets and an open plan office. The upper floor is accessed by an internal staircase, with another fitted externally as a fire escape. Our client Liverpool City Council, required this office and welfare construction for their refuse wagon management facility.
