Its Corten steel structure, also known as weathering steel, is manufactured for marine use and designed to surface rust to create a protective coating. Can I Have a Shipping Container Wider or Narrower than 8ft?
New shipping containers, also known as Once-Used shipping containers, are manufactured in a standard width of 8ft wide. This allows them to be transported easily across the world on cargo ships, stacked up to 8 high. If you purchase one of our new 20ft S2 containers, or a 40ft new container, these containers can be stacked or shipped with no trouble (but remember to ask us to check the CSC plate is still valid for shipping and ensure the unit is not a cut down!).
