Most businesses need office space and the solution isn't always bricks and mortar in an urban location. For example, this case study highlights an office we built for a business in technical construction that operates from farmland in Hampshire. Serving hospitals, laboratories, dentists and vets with medical gas pipelines, an on-site office is an essential part of operating a business.
Our standard ModiBox® portable offices are constructed from standard 8ft wide shipping containers, but when our clients require extra-width inside their office we can either use the joined-up containers method, or as seen here, build a brand new 10ft wide container. At 35ft long with a wood cladding and featuring a sloping roof, this is an impressive office!

Why chose a sloping roof?
A sloping roof gives an attractive looking finish to your container, disguising the its appearance as a metal box. This can help to gain planning permission if sited in a rural location, particularly when fitted along with external wood cladding. A sloping roof also serves the practical purpose of allowing rain water to drain off the container. We build these roofs from four panels, made from PVC Plastisol, with a polyester paint finish as standard. The slope is angled away from doors and windows to deflect rain water away from them. As an upgrade to a sloping roof we can also supply guttering to allow for drainage away from the container and avoid having to paddle around in puddles around the container.
