Dimensions: Our standard CarTainers are the 1510 (15ft long x 10ft wide), 1710 (17ft long x 10ft wide) and 2010 (20ft long x 10ft wide), and all built 8ft6 high. Delivery Information: Like a normal shipping container, the CarTainer will be delivered on either an Artic vehicle or Wagon and Drag with a hiab crane to offload. For more details, check out our Delivery Options page.
Planning Permission: The standard shipping container is often classed as a temporary structure and therefore not always subject to planning permission. However, as the CarTainer is designed as a garage, it may be classed as a permanent structure and would therefore require the same planning permission requirements as the standard garage build. We would always recommend double checking with the local council before placing an order to see if you will need planning permission.
