Why do we line and insulate containers?
Condensation in steel shipping containers can wreak havoc with the contents, especially during the winter months when temperatures drop causing moisture to form inside with no means of escape. Over time as dampness builds up damage to items such as textiles, paper, cardboard, furniture, food stuffs and electrical items can occur. In particular paperwork and document storage need to be kept in an completely moisture-free environment.Containers Direct have always offered traditional ply lining, but as the cost of materials increase it's become important to us to offer our customers the very best in prices and services. Therefore we launched the DryBox Eco Range, using Kronospan™ OSB boards to ensure that lined shipping containers are affordable for all.
