Who doesn't like pizza? Who wants the taste of a restaurant pizza without having to book a table and go out, or use Deliveroo? Imagine the convenience of being able to pick one up alongside your grocery shop, freshly cooked, hot and ready to eat straight from the box when you get home. Thanks to a shipping container and the business acumen of Pizza Express, this is no longer fantasy - it's real! Featured here is the first of its kind, outside Tesco Extra in Southampton
Containers Direct are excited to be at the forefront of the Pizza Express Pod project that aims to roll out 1,000 new pizzerias globally by 2030. The "grab and go" pod is based on our MenuBox® design - an open kitchen housed in a shipping container, fitted with a collection window. With another two pods that have since opened in Swansea and Waltham Cross, we're looking forward to continuing to supply more shipping containers to bring the UK proper pizza on the go.
Our catering pods are suitable for all portable catering needs, from coffee and sandwich stalls, burger vans and bars, and pizzerias - from 10ft long upwards.
