Once off-hired from the shipping lines, shipping containers are one of the most popular forms of storage containers in the UK. Providing security for your items, shipping containers are built with 16 gauge corrugated corten steel, secure double doors at the end and a 27mm marine plywood floor as standard. Coming in either used or once-used, and with a variety of sizes available from 8ft, 10ft, 12ft, 15ft, 20ft, 25ft, 30ft, and 40ft (and all the ones in between!) due to our cut down service, we're guaranteed to have something to suit you!
One way to use the existing shipping containers in a new way to create more width or length, is to join two or more units together to form a larger and more dynamic space. Most commonly used as a replacement for an existing warehouse or large indoor storage facility, joined up containers can provide an easy solution without resorting to a new build container or traditional building methods.
Sometimes the standard width of shipping containers is too much or too little, and was one of the main reasons people were turned off from purchasing a shipping container for storage. In our in-house fabrication yard, we are able to manufacture from new steel a range of new build containers in a variety of widths; as narrow at 5ft wide, to as large as 12ft wide.
One of our most popular items, especially for the residential market where access is too restricted for a typical shipping container, are our flat pack containers for sale. These nifty units come flat packed together and can be assembled with a simple socket set. All these units are modular, and can be linked together to form larger spaces if more storage is needed.
